I know your pounded almost daily for donations from cookies, cancer treatment, Christmas wrapping for you kids schools and more. Yet, I would like to tell you about one more great cause, Alzheimer’s.
Out of all the Alzheimer’s related walks across the country, Walk4ALZ is Orange County’s largest walk. The funds raised go to raise awareness treatments, research and hopefully in the near future a cure for Alzheimer’s.
This will be my second year walking with team, “Walk for a Cure” and my third year raising donations for Alzheimer’s. I became involved when a real good friend of ours, Steve and Gincy (Team Captain) were informed that Steve has the early stages of this horrible disease. Steve is a retired Disneyland Imagineer and if you’ve been to either Disneyland or California Adventure you’ve sure to have rode one of the rides imagined, designed, maintained or built by Steve.
The event this year is on, Saturday, November 5th, 2016 on Huntington Beach, CA. If your interested in supporting team, “Walk for a Cure,” you can make a donation by going to,
or go to the main Walk4ALZ age and then go to my page using the directions below.
You can enter my name, Richard Kreis or the team name, Walk for a Cure. Any amount is greatly appreciated and will be going to a great cause which is also a nice tax deduction.
Thank you for taking the time to read this post and for any and all donations.Thank you,
Team – Walk for a Cure
