Happy Wednesday Everyone,

Quick info. here, Friday I was hit with a case of “WHAT THE…?” I normally am awake 4-6 times a night and get an average 4-4-1/2 hours of sleep a night due to my chronic pain.  From Friday evening through Sunday evening I slept on average not only through the night but also half or more of the day.  It is now Wednesday the (4/6) and I still feel only 70-75% and still slept from 10pm – 5:30am, with only getting up twice last night, still no where near my norm.  Because of this and not wanting to backslide I’ve decided to take another few days and re-coup as much as possible.  Then I will then jump back in and finish up my post on the new CDC Guideline for Prescribing Opioids for Chronic Pain, FDA Opioids Action Plan and the National Pain Strategy that came out in March, 2016.  If you have chronic pain, use opioids to help control pain or for any other medical related illness this will be something to read and to research, because it not only may but will most likely affect you and you pain management.
