Doing caregiving and not caring for ourselves can and eventually will lead to rundown or burnout. Here’s a way too help you bounce back.

Check in every chance you get…

Use disposable dish ware when your sick, spending extra time caring for your loved one. Just reasons to use disposable plates, plastic ware or paper cups. You give up worrying about the dishes to care for those who need it.

When you go anywhere make sure the needs of your loved one are all taken into account. Don’t go fishing if they can’t get on the boat. Or, don’t go hiking if a wheelchair is involved. You would be surprised at the stories I’ve heard on sites.

It’s all about reducing embarrassment and building confidence. With the urinal guard and many other products available they can feel normal in certain situations. Wouldn’t you want that?
