Today (3/26/15) is “Wear Purple Day” for Epilepsy Awarness Day. Here are something’s you can do today to promote awareness:

“Get Your Purple On”
- Learn what to do in case you are first on site when someone’s having a seizure, please click on this link: http://www.epilepsy.com/start- here/seizures-first-aid
- Wear Purple
- Teach someone how to respond or forward them the above link.
- Share some facts about epilepsy, such as:
- 1 in 10 will have a seizure.
- 1 in 26 will develop epilepsy.
- “Currently” there is no cure
- Do Not stick anything into the mouth of someone having a seizure.
