Here’s wishing everyone a great day. I’m going to start naming Tuesdays as “Thank You Tuesdays,” where I will thank either family, friend, agency, individual, program, hospital, etc. for their help or contribution to the caregiving community. today’s Thank You stays close to home, of course. I would like to thank, my lovely wife of seventeen years, Trish, my wonderful kids Rachel and Caitlynn and my son Christopher. Without their support, understanding, their love and strength I seriously do not know where or who I would be today. A simple “Thank You “just does not seem to be enough for all they went through with my medication interactions, medication side effects, mood swings, anger, depression and so much more.
I hope you all realize that the person I was then is not the person I am normally. For lack of a better way of putting it and words just don’t work and I will accept my part and not put the blame 100% on the medications or the pain. I am sorry and also thank you all for your understanding and for putting up with everything I put you through. I will spend however long it takes to apologize for all of it and prove that things have changed and that we have the medications under control which controls everything else. With all my gratitude and all my heart, Thank You four for staying I guarantee you there is no way I could have made it to here without your there.
Love,
Your Husband, Your Dad
