My Caregiver Business Card

Recently I talked about having made or making up on my own, Caregiver Cards and what I mean by this is business cards for caregivers.  I was going to have the front contain all of my contact information and who I am and the back was going to be all of moms medication.  This had to be changed due to amount of medication mom is on would not fit on the back of a standard business card, even if I went vertical or had the font size at a 4.  So I kept the contact information and then on the back as you can see I added by tag line and a QR scan so people can either enter my site address or simply scan it and they are taken directly to my site which has a link to mom’s information which includes, important medical history, medications, allergies, reactions, her doctors contact information, etc.  So here are my Caregiver Cards which I had made up for $10.00 for a plain front, $14.00 with the design I chose and another $6.00 to have the information on the back, so a total of $20.00 and $5.25 for shipping for 250 cards.  Making Caregiver cards with the Every Business card paper stock is ($17.99 for 200 cards) and does not include ink and such.  In the long run I think the price balances out.

This is better than having mom carry around a flash drive or disc and then having to get it from her to update it as needed, all I do is go in after an appointment and make any necessary changes and then copy and paste that new information into an email and send that to mom “Wondering List,” this is my brothers, our wife’s and mom’s sister.  If I don’t do this mass email or text then I get calls or texts from all of them and am having to repeat myself 6-7 times, this way the information is in hard print and they know exactly what everyone else knows.  What changes would you make?  What information do you think I left off, if any?  Let me know your thoughts, I’m very interested in hearing what you think of the idea of a Caregivers Card?  Do you think something like this is necessary?  This has to be the shortest blog post I’ve ever done.

                   Thanks
