How to keep in touch with your caree.

     Below is a copy of a email response I sent Denise when she posted that, when upgrading her phones software the phone went out.  I know that Apple has their new iOS7 which just came out and to insure you are able to get in touch with you caree, I felt this should be posted.  I hope this works for you as it has worked for me.  I have had to reset my iPhone twice so far (past 10 days) to download an update to the update.

Regarding your phone, is it an iPhone?  If so, have you tried a “Hard Reset” on it?  When upgrading to iOS7 the phone will turn itself off and on to accept the new software and this can take a few minutes.  Mine did not restart like it was supposed to so here is what I found out to do in this case,

 

How to perform a iPhone Hard Reset:

1) Together press the “Home Button (Round Button), bottom of phone” and the “On/Off Button (Bar Button) on top of phone, AT THE SAME TIME.

2) Hold buttons (2) together until the iPhone starts or the iPhone gives you the “Slide here to Open” screen.

3) Finally, “Slide here to Open” and you’re ready to go.
